One Who’s About To Commit Suicide

I pray that everyone who feels suicidal right now gets courage and chance to find a reason to smile for.

I pray that something stops their attempt to commit suicide so that they can one day look back at their journey and feel glad that they did not take life away.

I pray that they meet someone who not only tells them that they are worthy of love, but makes them feel truly loved.

I pray that they get the company of someone who genuinely listens to them and gently guides them through the recovery process.

Most importantly I pray they realize within themselves that in life there’s a lot of new opportunities and things to be grateful for.

I pray that something/ someone shows them all the reasons they should live for, regardless of all the reasons they think they should die for.

I pray that their attempt to commit suicide push them into a totally different state of mind that encourages them to improve themselves spiritually, financially and physically.

I pray that those troubled souls find the healing they need and live long.

Suicide prevention quotes

“Even the darkest night will end and the and the sun will rise”

Did you know? According to World Health Organization, close to 800 000 people die due to suicide every year, which is one person every 40 seconds.

  1. I pray with you that anyone feeling that life is so unbearable will meet someone to open up to.
I understand from talking to people close that family and friends have not been aware.
    How do we help?

    1. Yes I think most of the times those who feel suicidal tend to bottle up their thoughts. And I believe it’s because they think that others wouldn’t understand them or that others wouldn’t be able to help them. If someone openly talks about such thoughts, it’s so important to take it seriously. To listen to them and make them realize that all those suicidal thoughts and feelings are just based on unnecessary fear. To show them the opportunities that’s there outside. To support them to step into those new opportunities which can help them to enjoy life again and to get rid of those suicidal thoughts. If we don’t have enough confidence on how to support a person who has suicidal thoughts, it’s always a good idea to direct them to a professional. And I think it’s REALLY important to be there for them whenever they need someone to listen to.

Thanks a lot for sharing your insights and kind words. I appreciate it a lot 😊 Have a wonderful day!
