Waiting can sometimes be painful and difficult to handle. But some things in life are worth the wait.
At certain situations, you can be in a hurry, rush things and get something that is low in quality, meaning and deep connection. In simple, “something that is not what you really want.”
Or you can choose to wait patiently and take necessary steps to build and develop a great foundation to finally reach what exactly you want.
When you choose not to rush, you have the time and ability to build a foundation that is strong, energetic, deep and full of meaning. With such a foundation, rest of the journey is more joyful and purposeful.
But if you rush things over the reasons such as fear, uncertainty and loneliness, there’s a high possibility that you will later regret rushing it that needed time to grow.
- Do you want to find yourself someday frustrated and trying so hard to fix something that is far beyond what you truly deserve?
- Do you want to see yourself doing something just because you made a wrong decision in past to start it?
- Do you want to have doubts about where you stand and feel like you have missed something important in your life all that long?
- Do you want to be at a state where you know that is not what you truly wanted your life to be like?
The answer is probably “NO”.
But rushing things can lead you into such situations and that is why it is so important not to rush things that require time to grow.
Meanwhile, there are things that require time to grow, things that do not require time to grow and things that’s not worth your time at all. (Identifying whether it is something that needs time to grow is completely another blog topic which I am not going to focus in this post.)
It can be a relationship which you plan to enter into but you have certain issues that you should fix before getting into it, a bond with someone which is not stable enough for you to make a major move with, a goal of starting a new project which is too risky to start at the moment or any other situation which needs time and space to grow at the very first place.
Once you identify it as something that requires time to grow, then you can focus on developing a healthy foundation to reach the goal.
Develop a great foundation first, which is worthwhile.
Give it enough time, do not rush, be patient, educate yourself about the situation, use your energy wisely, improve yourself, distinctly plan the steps to achieve what you want, plan how you should handle it when it is achieved and be really clear and specific about your choice and that it is something worth waiting and working for.
By doing so, you will be more distinct about why you are doing it, how you are getting there and where exactly you are heading to.
Accordingly, at the end, when you have FINALLY made it, reached that goal or accomplished that task, you will thank yourself for the patience you mastered.
You will be thankful for those internal and external improvements you made while you were not rushing it.
You will be thankful for the person you became during that challenging period of time.
Most importantly, you will realize that you could have made things difficult, never achieved it or totally messed the opportunity if you rushed the results when it needed time to grow.
Love and blessings to all 💕
